Bangkok, May 22, 2025 — The Asian Institute of Gemological Sciences (AIGS) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Faculty of Science, Kasetsart University, setting the stage for a strategic partnership aimed at advancing gemological research and academic exchange in Thailand.
The signing ceremony was held at the Princess Chulabhorn 60th Birthday Anniversary Science Research Center and attended by senior representatives from both institutions. The event featured opening remarks, formal signing proceedings, a commemorative photo session, and a guided tour of the university’s advanced research facilities.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Kennedy Ho, Chairman of AIGS, underscored the long-term significance of the agreement:
“This is not only an agreement—it is a commitment. Our collaboration is a meaningful step forward for our country and our industry. By combining our strengths, we aim to create new opportunities in gemological education and research that will benefit future generations.”
This partnership reflects a shared vision to foster cross-disciplinary research, promote academic innovation, and bridge the gap between scientific study and industry application. The MOU outlines joint initiatives in curriculum development, research collaboration, and student exchange—laying a strong foundation for long-term cooperation.
