Example: HT (a.2) means: Minor amount of residues in fissures and Moderate amount of residues in cavities.
2- Other Codes
HT (Pb) This stone has been clarity enhanced by heat process - Lead-rich* foreign substance found in fissures and/or cavities.
HT (LE) This stone has been enhanced by heat process with light element(s) (including Be*).
HT (SD) This stone has been enhanced by heat process using surface diffusion process (Some or all of the color is artificially created and lies just at and below the surface in a thin layer - color is stable but may be removed by (re)cutting or (re)polishing).
Remark: The mention “Not LIBS tested” on a report means that the stone wasn’t tested for Light Elements treatment.
*: "Pb"is the symbol for Lead element and "Be" is the symbol for Beryllium element.
