VISA
International students are advised to obtain necessary visas before arriving in Thailand.
1. For courses less than 30 days:
A normal tourist visa will be sufficient. With a tourist visa, one can remain in Thailand for a period of 30 days. Tourist visas can be extended for 1 week for a fee of 1,900 Baht.
2. For courses longer than 30 days:
A Non-immigrant or ED (Education) visa will be required. Such a visa is valid for 90 days.
Procedure for obtaining an ED (Education) visa are
as follows:
2.1. Register for an AIGS course.
2.2. AIGS will send confirmation letter.
2.3. Take this confirmation letter to the Thai Embassy and apply for ED visa.
2.4. Within 7 days after arrival in Thailand, visa extension must be processed at Immigration Bureau in Bangkok.
AIGS will assist in making this visa extension.
Fees: Administration fee of 2,000 Baht for visa extension processing.
3. Visa requirement for A.G. Program (6 Months):
Non-immigrant or ED (Education) Visa required to enter Thailand. Upon entry visa is valid for 90 days. This visa can be extended for another 90 days.

In order to facilitate proper visa for 6 month duration, the following documents are required for A.G. Students at time of Registration.
1. Passport
2. Six (6) copies of passport style photos (4 x 6 cm)
3. Copy of High School or University Diploma in English (Name on Diploma must be same as in passport).
If you plan to leave Thailand temporarily during your studies, a re-entry permit must be obtained from Thai immigration before
leaving the country.
Re-entry Visa Fees
One time use Re-entry Visa : 1,000 Baht
Multiple use Re-entry Visa : 3,800 Baht
